With DIY Dry Hire you collect your items from Gravesend and bring them back yourself. With Full Service we deliver, set up, take everything down and collect it.

Yes. DIY Dry Hire starts from £300 and Full Service from £600. Both figures are your hire subtotal, before any delivery fee or other charges.

On Full Service, yes: setup, table dressing, backdrop installation and takedown are part of the price. On DIY Dry Hire you set up yourself.

DIY Dry Hire has a flat £50 deposit. Full Service has a 25% deposit on the invoice total. Either way it secures your date and is due within 7 days of booking.

On both services the balance is due 7 days before your event. We send an invoice and you can pay by card using the link in it, or by bank transfer. Cash is accepted by agreement, for example on collection. We don't accept cheques.

We take a £50 security deposit on both services as cover against damage. Larger orders can need a higher one, and we'll confirm the amount in your quote. We refund it within one working day of your items being returned and checked, minus anything owed for damage or loss.

Every Full Service invoice includes a 20% charge on the hire subtotal (delivery isn't included). It covers cleaning and resetting everything after your event, and it's already in your quote. On DIY Dry Hire there's no dirty return charge unless items come back damaged or soiled beyond normal use.

Full Service delivery and collection is a flat £50 within our usual area. For venues a long way out it may cost more, and events inside the central London congestion charge zone carry a flat additional £18. We'll tell you in your quote before you commit. DIY Dry Hire has no delivery fee because you collect.

Valid photo ID (a passport or driving licence) and a vehicle that can carry the goods safely. Anyone collecting for you, including a courier, needs photo ID too.

It depends on the items and quantity. Dressing 100 chairs with covers and sashes usually takes an hour or less, and more takes more time. Chairs and tables need to be laid out how you want them before we arrive. For chocolate fountain hire we arrive 30 to 40 minutes before your hire time so setup doesn't use any of it. Tell us if your venue gives you a set time.

On Full Service, yes. Tell us when your event starts and ends, when you want things dropped off, and when setup needs to be finished.

Standard hire is a day, but we agree collection and return around your event and when we're both available, so you aren't squeezed into one day.

Tell us in writing by email. Cancel at least 7 days before your hire start date and you get a full refund. Within 7 days you get 50% of the hire charge back, and within 2 days nothing. Reducing your order counts as a part cancellation. Details in our terms.

Lost or damaged items are charged at the cost of replacing them, taken from your security deposit first. Late returns cost the full hire fee for each extra day.

We check availability when we reply to your request, so send your date with it. Written quotes are valid for 14 days. Your booking is confirmed once we receive the deposit.
